七招让你不再“张冠李戴”
One of the toughest things to do when getting to know people professionally is remembering their names. And it's also an extremely useful skill to have when you're networking. Showing a stranger that you remembered her name can portray you as someone who pays attention and even someone who cares. Here are some tricks to remembering any name:想要在结识他人方面表现出专业素养，一大难题就是如何记住别人的名字。又快又好地记住对方的名字，这在社交上可是一个很有用的技巧。记住别人的名字展示给对方的就是，你是个专注的人，而且你很在乎对方。下面介绍一些小技巧让你从此不再“张冠李戴”：
1.Ask for their business card: When you meet someone in a networking situation, ask for their business card. Jot down a few notes about the person and his appearance so you can differentiate him from the other people you've met. You can always refer back to the card if you forget someone's name.问对方要名片：在社交场合，当你和某人见面的时候，问他们要一张名片。并在名片上略微记一些有关这个人的外貌或其他方面的特征，以便区别。如果你忘了对方的名字，那就看一眼名片。
2.Repeat it in your mind: After you've met someone, repeat her name in your mind a few times until you feel like you got a hang of the name.在脑中复述对方的名字：在认识了某人之后，把她的名字在脑中重复几遍，直到你觉得记住了为止。
3.Write it down: Some people write down people's names in a private place like a bathroom on a scrap of paper or a notebook. 把对方的名字写下来：有些人会去到一个隐蔽的地方，比如卫生间，把新认识的人的名字写下来，写在一张纸上或者笔记本里都可以。
4.Ask again: At the end of your conversation, ask the person you're speaking with to repeat his name just to make sure you have it right. Hearing it again will help you memorize it as well.再问一次：在谈话的最后，再询问一遍对方的名字，以作确认。而且，再听对方说一次名字，也能让你更好地记住。
5. Visualize an image: Attach an image to the name. For example, if you meet a Catherine, then try to connect the image of a cat with the woman. That way, when you meet the woman again, the image of a cat will pop up, and it will be easy to work out what her name is.图像法：把对方的名字和图像联系起来。比如，对方叫做Catherine，你就想象一个女人带着一只猫的图像。这样的话，当你下次再见到她时，马上就会有一只猫的形象出现在脑海中，而她的名字也就呼之欲出了。
6.Identity associations: If you picked up an interesting or distinguishing fact about the person you're talking to, then repeat the associations in your head. For example, Matt resells rare shoes on eBay or Kelly participates in triathlons.联想法：把对方和某件有趣的或者突出的事联系在一起，然后再在脑海中重复这个联想。举个例子，Matt在eBay上卖二手的稀有鞋品，或者Kelly参加过铁人三项比赛。
7.Inject it into conversation: Say the other person's name as often as you can during the conversation without it getting awkward. For example, inserting the name casually in sentences like "I really agree with you, John" or "John, how are you liking living in the city?" will do wonders for memorizing names.把对方的名字加入到对话中去：尽可能多地在对话中提到对方的名字，但不要把场面弄得很尴尬。比如，你可以很随意地说，“我很同意你的观点，John。”或者“John，你觉得住在大城市里怎么样？”这个方法会带给你意想不到的好结果。
